Your household, your browser

Privacy, simply

Fair Turn calculates the rota on your device. It does not send names, chores, dates, or backup contents to a server. There are no accounts, analytics, remote fonts, or advertising scripts in this version.

What is stored

Your applied rota and its displayed week position are saved in this browser’s local storage when available. The storage key is fair-turn.v1. Anyone using the same browser profile and website can open that rota. Use initials or nicknames if you prefer.

The website cannot sync or recover data after you clear browser storage. Backups are files you download to your device. A backup contains the names and chores you entered, the starting date, and the view position. Share it only with people you intend to see that information.

Network requests

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages at https://fair-turn-free.pages.dev. Your browser requests the site’s own HTML, style, scripts, and icon. Cloudflare may process ordinary request information such as an IP address to deliver and protect the site. The rota has no application server and makes no background API requests.

Advertising metadata

This version includes a publisher identifier and an ads.txt file for possible future advertising review. These are static text. No ads load and no advertising cookies are set by this code. Any future advertising or tracking feature would require a privacy-policy update.

Remove your data

Use your browser’s site-data controls to remove this site’s local storage. Delete downloaded backups separately. Close other editing tabs before clearing data so they do not save another copy.
